Role Overview Citi is seeking a highly motivated Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to join the Collateral Management Engines Technology team within Markets Technology. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and enhancing high-throughput, enterprise-grade Arranging Engines and Rehypothecation Engines that serve tier-one institutional hedge fund clients. The Arranging Engine is a mission-critical platform enabling financing structures that provide enhanced leverage and margin optimization to institutional clients beyond standard Regulation T (Reg T) and Portfolio Margin constraints. The Rehypothecation Engine is an enterprise-critical system that calculates and manages eligible client collateral available for reuse-supporting firm financing, client debit balance funding, securities lending, and centralized market operations in compliance with global regulatory frameworks (such as SEC Rule 15c3-3 and CASS/SFTR). You will collaborate closely with product managers, quantitative analysts, business analysts, and engineering leads to deliver scalable, resilient, low-latency, and cloud-ready solutions leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and enterprise SQL
