The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop Code, test, document and release stories as part of development team.\nReviewing code work for accuracy and functionality. Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications\nWork closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.\nTake ownership of smooth Production releases planning and execution\nAnalyze existing operations to identify risks and redundancies\nConduct comprehensive assessments to develop solutions\nLiaise with team members, management to ensure projects are completed to application development and governance standard\nKeep up-to-date with industry trends and developments\nResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards\nIdentify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions\nUtilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues\nAnalyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvements\nConduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specifications\nAssess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures\nDevelop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\n Qualifications:\n2 to 4 years of Application Development experience\nProficiency in Java, Spring, Hibernate, real-time messaging, and associated Java frameworks\nHands-on experience developing products with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture\nStrong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. Oracle)\nDeep understanding of software architecture, industry best practices, and excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills\nExposure to microservices architecture.\nAPI first design thinking and implementation using Rest\nExperience with building applications on cloud platform such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift\nProven implementation of design patterns, Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and techniques\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills\nAble to work independently and as part of a team, Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.\nUI tech stack knowledge will be
