This is an area of great opportunity and is a major growth target for Citi - with technology providing the key to unlock this potential.\nResponsibilities:\nActively develop and deliver components for the Core Prime Brokerage platform using Java/Kotlin.\nContribute to agile development by improving CI/CD practices and implementing automated testing.\nParticipate in design, planning, and estimation discussions, breaking down work into technical tasks.\nCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine and clarify requirements.\nCreate and maintain project and technical documentation.\nAssist in identifying and communicating potential risks and issues for assigned tasks.\nParticipate in production support, including diagnosing issues, implementing enhancements, and improving system reliability.\nCollaborate with a global team, conduct peer reviews, and mentor junior analysts and graduates.\nTechnical Experience:\nJava & Test-Driven Development are essential.\nExperience in any number of additional technologies (listed below) is advantageous:\nKotlin\nCloud Technologies (Kubernetes, Open Shift)\nMessaging Technologies (Kafka, Solace, TIBCO)\nDatabase / Data Store / Data Query Technologies (SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3)\nObservability Technologies (OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack / ELK, Grafana)\nRecommended Qualifications:\n5-8 years of relevant experience\nExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applications\nExperience in managing and implementing successful projects\nWorking knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods\nAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements\nBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
