As a critical pillar within the Master Reference Data (MRD) and the broader Citi Enterprise Data Organization (EDO), our team is responsible for modernizing and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate Action events across the enterprise.\nRole Overview/What will you do:\nDevelop and implement complex software solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services - Full Stack Development\nDesign, develop, and maintain robust microservices adhering to architectural best practices.\nApply hands-on expertise in Core Java, including multi-threading and the Collections framework.\nUtilize Spring Framework effectively for application development.\nEnsure adherence to software engineering best practices, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and design patterns.\nContribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.\nManage source code effectively using tools such as Git.\nPromote and apply clean coding principles and maintain high quality using tools like Sonar.\nDesign and implement comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure solution quality.\nAnalyze and solve complex technical problems efficiently.\nWork with a team of application developers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nKey Skills and Experience required:\n4+ years experience in developing and implementing complex software solutions - Full Stack.\nStrong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services (XML, JSON).\nFront-End Dev Skills: React JS\nProven experience working with Microservices Architecture.\nHands-on experience with Core Java, Multi-threading, Collections framework, and Spring Framework.\nSolid understanding of software engineering best practices, OOP, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with source code management tools (Git).\nUnderstanding of clean coding principles and code quality measurements using tools like Sonar.\nDemonstrated ability to design and implement unit, integration, and functional tests.\nA strong, solution-driven mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, devise strategic solutions, and lead their implementation.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAny Beneficial / Nice to have experience:\nExperience with AI technology (Devin, Co Pilot)\nUnderstanding of Cloud-native development principles.\nExperience with Container Orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).\nProficiency in using Jira for tracking tasks, managing backlogs, and participating in sprint cycles.\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
