In this position, you will help develop and manage Citi's internal Know Your Client (KYC) programme, working across teams to identify risk, ensure compliance, and protect the integrity of the firm and its clients. This is an opportunity to apply your KYC expertise at scale within one of the world's leading financial institutions.\nResponsibilities\nManage key areas of risk and control - including information security, business continuity, and records management - to maintain operational integrity across the KYC function.\nAnalyse risk exposures and associated controls to identify root causes, then collaborate with peers and management to present findings and recommend mitigation measures.\nPartner with business managers and product staff to develop and execute plans within your area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with compliance standards.\nPrepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and periodic risk and control reports for use across internal forums and governance discussions.\nServe as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance on KYC processes and compliance requirements.\nEngage with Internal Audit and external audit teams to provide input on risk areas and potential legal liabilities, ensuring findings are clearly communicated and addressed.\nAssess risk in day-to-day business decisions, escalating and managing control issues with transparency to protect the firm, its clients, and its assets.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nBetween 5-7 years of experience in KYC, AML, compliance, or a related financial services role.\nDemonstrated ability to make well-informed, timely decisions in a regulated environment.\nTrack record of anticipating and responding effectively to business and client needs.\nAbility to build and maintain productive working relationships across business regions and functions.\nComfortable operating with a degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgement and taking ownership of outcomes.\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\nBeneficial Skills & Qualifications\nExperience in a KYC checker or reviewer capacity, with exposure to end-to-end client due diligence processes.\nSubject matter expertise in KYC or AML gained through a specialist or advisory role.\nACAMS certification (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or equivalent professional qualification in financial crime compliance \n------------------------------------------------------\nJob Family Group:\nOperations -
