Your primary objective is to ensure that existing and planned security frameworks meet the highest quality and compliance standards.\nCloud Technology Services (CTS) delivers integrated risk reduction capabilities aligned with our long-term architectural goals. In this role, you will define highly scalable, integrated security architectures, influence product roadmaps, and drive interoperability across a complex end-to-end network and cloud security ecosystem, always keeping the client experience at the forefront.\nResponsibilities\nStrategic Collaboration: Partner with Transformation Program Directors, Senior Architects, Steering Committees, CISO, and CTI partners to successfully deliver complex, enterprise-wide transformational programs. \nSegmentation Engineering: Collaborate with Citi’s Cyber Security Lab, Architecture, and Engineering teams to design, deploy, and maintain robust VMWare vDefend Security Controls and micro-segmentation solutions. \nGovernance & Relationship Management: Interface with and support Citi’s Security Architecture Council and Working Groups, building strong rapport and alignment across cross-functional teams. \nDigital Transformation: Support Citi’s adoption of the cloud continuum and holistic digital transformation initiatives. \n Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts (using Python, Shell, etc.) to streamline repetitive operational tasks, including software installations/upgrades, database patching, OS patching, and server provisioning. \nProject & Incident Management: Formulate comprehensive project plans, conduct thorough impact analyses, and troubleshoot high-impact, complex technical issues to ensure rapid service restoration. \nProcess Optimization: Review technical requirement documents, define hardware specifications, and continuously evaluate and optimize engineering processes and procedures. \nMentorship & Leadership: Provide technical and strategic guidance, acting as a mentor and coach to junior engineers while operating with high autonomy. \nProblem Management: Drive technical direction and strategic decision-making by designing, discussing, and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurring issues. \nRisk & Compliance: Proactively assess risk during business decision-making, ensuring safeguarding of Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and internal policies. \nQualifications\nExperience: 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, technology infrastructure, or IT engineering within a large-scale enterprise. \nLeadership: Proven track record in leadership or senior engineering roles, successfully driving large-scale programs or technology transformation initiatives. \n Security & Segmentation Expertise: Hands-on experience with micro-segmentation and network segmentation technologies (e.g., Illumio, VMware vDefend, Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks). \nTechnical Knowledge: Deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, focusing on cloud security, firewalls, and network/macro/micro-segmentation. \nStandards & Compliance: Thorough understanding of industry-standard security frameworks and corporate technology compliance standards. \nExecution & Ownership: Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under pressure in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. \nProblem Solving: Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. \nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \nSystems Administration: Experience with Linux/Unix system administration is highly desirable. \nNetwork Services: Solid understanding of proxy functionalities, features, and network traffic management. \nEducation\nBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience. \nMaster’s degree preferred. \nWe offer:\nBy joining Citi Solutions Center Poland, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (currently up to 2 days working at home per week), but also (potentially, subject to final offer) receive a competitive base salary and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits which can include:\nEmployer paid Defined Contribution Pension Plan contribution of 6% of employee’s pensionable earnings (PPE Program)\nEmployer paid Private Medical Care Package for employees and Private Medical Care Packages for certain family members available at preferential rates\nEmployer paid Life Insurance Program for employees and Life Insurance for certain family members available at preferential rates\nEmployee Assistance Program financed by Employer\nPaid Parental Leave Program (maternity and paternity leave;
