This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, giving you ownership over how exceptions, approvals, and entitlements are managed at enterprise scale.\nResponsibilities\nArchitect and build scalable microservices and REST APIs in Java and Spring Boot that power enterprise-wide exception and case management.\nDesign exception and case management workflows, covering intake, validation, case creation, allocation, and resolution tracking.\nDevelop workflow orchestration using tools such as Camunda or Flowable to enable dynamic routing, task assignment, escalations, and SLA management.\nBuild configurable maker-checker approval frameworks that enforce multi-level approvals, segregation of duties, and delegation policies.\nImplement entitlement and governance controls, including role- and attribute-based access, fine-grained UI permissions, and full audit trails.\nDesign event-driven integrations with Kafka to support asynchronous processing, real-time notifications, and ServiceNow connectivity.\nBuild high-volume React and TypeScript interfaces, including dashboards and task inboxes, that give users clear visibility into their work.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\n6+ years of experience in applications development, and managing complex technical projects within financial services or a similarly regulated industry.\nHands-on proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with a track record of architecting secure, scalable microservices, REST APIs and shared platform services consumed across multiple enterprise applications.\nExperience with workflow orchestration engines such as Camunda, Flowable, or other BPMN-based tools, including dynamic routing, task assignment, escalations and SLA management.\nExperience designing maker-checker approval frameworks, segregation of duties, entitlement models such as RBAC or ABAC, and audit trail capabilities.\nEvent-Driven Architecture: Strong Kafka experience for asynchronous processing, event-based workflows, notifications and ServiceNow integration.\nProficiency in React and TypeScript for building complex, high-volume enterprise user interfaces.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\nPlatform Architecture & Scalability: Proven ability to design secure, resilient, high-performance shared services
