Responsibilities:\nTechnical Leadership & Hands-On Development:\nLead by example, actively contributing to the design, architecture, and hands-on development of critical software components for Counterparty Credit Risk Management leveraging AI tools such as Devin and Co-Pilot\nDrive technical excellence, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed for high-performance and large-scale applications.\nConduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members in advanced development techniques.\nTeam Leadership & Management:\nSupervise work of a team of software engineers\nFoster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team environment focused on tackling challenging firm-wide initiatives.\nAllocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and objectives related to risk management solutions.\nStrategic Planning & Innovation:\nIdentify and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI tools (including GenAI) that can enhance our credit risk management product offerings and development processes.\nDrive the adoption of modern tech stacks (e.g., cloud-native, microservices, serverle\nss architectures, containerization) and AI/ML capabilities into our solutions for limit monitoring, exception management, stress testing analysis, and escalation workflows.\nContribute to the strategic roadmap and vision for technology development within the Credit Risk Technology team.\nArchitecture & Design:\nDefine and enforce architectural standards and patterns for robust, scalable, and secure credit risk applications.\nCollaborate with product management, risk officers, salespeople, and traders to translate complex business requirements into robust and scalable technical designs, providing an integrated view across diverse data sources.\nProject Delivery:\nOversee the end-to-end delivery of software projects within the Credit Risk domain, from conception to deployment and maintenance.\nEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards, directly impacting Citi's risk exposure management.\nImplement and champion agile development methodologies.\nStakeholder Communication:\nCommunicate technical vision, progress, and challenges effectively to both technical and business stakeholders, including risk officers and senior management.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and other engineering groups, to deliver comprehensive risk solutions.\nQualifications:\n6+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (Lead Developer, Tech Lead)\nStrong hands-on programming skills in Java and related technologies\nExtensive experience with modern tech stacks and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including microservices, APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.\nProven experience in leveraging AI/ML tools and technologies (e.g., GenAI, machine learning frameworks, natural language processing, data science platforms) in building large-scale, high-performance applications.\nDeep understanding of software architecture patterns, data structures, and algorithms.\nExperience with various databases (SQL and NoSQL) and complex data integration/streaming technologies.\nProficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.\nAbility to inspire and motivate a technical team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong experience in the financial services industry, particularly in credit risk, market risk, or a related trading/risk domain.\nFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in financial technology.\nExperience with large-scale data aggregation and real-time processing systems.\nCertifications in cloud platforms or specific AI/ML
