Our ambition is to deliver a seamlessly integrated, highly automated platform that drives outstanding client outcomes and accelerates growth across our global franchise.\nRole Overview/What will you do:\nAs Lead Software Engineer in our global technology team, you will be working with a group of passionate engineers who build technical solutions to complex business problems.\nYou will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product and working towards a target state of a fully automated platform with minimal manual interventions. You will have an opportunity to participate in the whole spectrum of building a software solution, closely working with product teams and users. We expect you to contribute to our vision of building a strong engineering culture within our global teams.\nThis role is for someone who is a strong technologist, enjoys solving engineering challenges, has experience in building robust and high-quality solutions, has excellent communication skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.\nKey Skills and Experience required -\nHands-on professional software development experience\nProficiency in programming in Java, Python, JavaScript or React\nExperience of building RESTful APIs using popular frameworks like Spring\nExperience of working with event driven systems, microservices, micro-frontend UIs\nExperience of following TDD and clean code principles\nProficiency with data structures, algorithms and SQL\nAble to independently work in fast paced and rapidly changing environment\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering\nAny Beneficial / Nice to have skills and experience:\nExperience of using cloud services such as AWS and distributed systems such as Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB or any other NoSQL database\nExperience of working in investment bank or financial services industry\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
