The Middle East & Africa (MEA) CCB Services Sales Head will work closely with the CCB heads across CCB’s MEA footprint to serve Commercial Banking’s top clients & prospects in these markets across the full suite of Services products, as well as with the franchise leadership, Corporate, Commercial & Public sector (CCPS) sales, and Services product partners across the cluster and the broader Citi network. The incumbent will drive new client origination and share of wallet growth, manage a team of high performing individuals and be a senior expert in their field. This is a team leader role, expected to partner and influence decision makers across clients and within the bank with an aim to make Citi the go to international banking partner for our client segments.\n\nCore Responsibilities:\nGrow Services wins and pipeline in MEA - both, locally headquartered and subsidiary businesses\nDeliver on ambitious Services revenue growth in MEA markets\nLead, grow, coach and mentor your team, providing them with the resources and guidance to bring the best out of them\nBe subject matter expert for solution-based selling, and foster incoming talent with the right mindset\nBe an expert on all Services offerings both at the bank, and the broader market\nCollaborate with sales partners across verticals such as Trade, Cards and Issuer/Investor Services to drive incremental business\nWork with management on planning, resourcing, and market expansion\nProvide solutions for all escalated client issues and co-ordinate resolution ensuring best possible client experience.\nKeep the management team updated on progress of the team’s performance, with a plan on how to solve for potential challenges\nEstablish regular cadence to review business progress with exco leadership in both CCB and Services\nActively participate in and contribute to globally strategic initiatives for CCB-Services\nAct as a bridge between clients, banking, and product partners, distilling and communicating key client asks and competitive market developments\nBe an ambassador for CCB-Services in the market, building client engagement and commercializing the latest solutions.\n\nSkills that will help you in the Role:\nExpert on MEA Cash Management & Trade solutions, understanding market forces and drivers\nExperience in managing people, demonstrating how you have helped them develop in their careers\nExcellent Interpersonal skills, collaboration across functions and geographies, and stakeholder management\nAbility to multitask and prioritize conflicting deliverables both for clients and internally\nExperience in managing client relationships, ability to influence others to support client needs\nKnow where to apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency\nCommunication, analytical, and quantitative skills for effective presentations, pitches and conversions. Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex ideas\nAbility to identify problems and solutions leveraging cash product propositions, business drivers, policies, customer needs and market trends\nDemonstrate thought leadership, vision and execution capability for future ambition and growth\nIn-depth knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operations.\n\nQualifications:\nExtensive commercial banking experience and treasury and trade solutions knowledge\nProven track record of initiating, executing and growing complex client relationships\nBachelor's degree, potentially Master's degree This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
