As an Operational Risk Senior Analyst,you'llplay a key role in our Central Capabilities Execution team, a vital part of our Banking and International ORM function. You will use yourexpertisein Operational Risk Management to enhance processes, analyze complex issues, and protect the firm’s financial stability and reputation. This is a role where your analytical and communication skills will have a significant impact on our business resilience and success. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and with the ability to handle complex and dynamic information, as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
Responsibilities:
Participates in the application of operational risk policies, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks.
Deliver high-qualityanalysisand reporting, with clear and actionable inference toidentifytrends or emerging risks.
Develop best practices across ORM Framework components and drive standardization and simplification across Operational Risk managementInternationalfootprint.
Contributes to risk assessments and drives actions to address the root causes that lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices.
Coordinates audits, examinations, and deliverable requirements from internal and external reviewers by supporting coordinating activities.
Ensures project completion, special assignments, and other ad hoc activities asrequired.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
Ensure operational risk management activitiescomply withinternal policies, external regulations, and industry standards.
Demonstrates and inspires curiosity in seeking new ways to overcome challenges; actively applies learning from failures.
Acts as a change catalyst byidentifyingand helping others see wherenew ideascouldbenefitthe organization.
Focuses on highest-priority work aligned to business goals; helps others effectively manage competing priorities.
Proactivelyidentifiesopportunities to streamline work; creates process improvements that enhance efficiency for self and the team.
Qualifications:
3+years ofrelevantexperience
Previousexperience supporting risk management, compliance, governance, orcontrolsrelated roles.
Exposure to enterprise risk management frameworks and knowledge of risk reporting tools and techniqueswould be an asset.
Proven ability to analyze complex data toidentifytrends and emerging risks and translate those findings into compelling visualizations and clear narratives that drive understanding and influence stakeholders.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience building influential relationships and fostering collaboration with cross-functional, global teams.
An intellectually curious approach, combined with outstanding communication skills to distill complex information and present it with clarity and impact
Robust project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to problem-solve, recommend practical and effective solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
High levelof integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
