Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.\nResponsibilities:\nGathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.\nIdentifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.\nRecommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.\nMay be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.\nContinuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities\nWork closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nExperience:\nBachelor’s Degree with 5-8 years of experience in data analytics, or Master’s Degree with 4-8 years of experience in data analytics, or PhD.\nMust have:Advanced process management skills, organized and detail oriented\nCurious about learning and developing new skillsets\nExperience across different analytical methods like hypothesis testing, segmentation, time series forecasting, test vs. control comparison etc.\nPredictive modeling using Machine Learning\nExperience with unstructured data analysis, e.g. call transcripts, using Natural language Processing (NLP)/ Text Mining\n\nGood to have:Experience in financial services\nExperience working with data from different sources and of different complexity\n\nSkills:\nAnalytical Skills:\nStrong logical reasoning and problem-solving ability\nProficient in converting business problems into analytical tasks, and analytical findings into business insights\nProficient in formulating analytical methodology, identifying trends and patterns with data\nHas the ability to work hands-on to retrieve and manipulate data from big data environments\nTools and Platforms:\nProficient in Python, SQL\nExperience in Hive\nExperience with PySpark\nExperience with Tableau\nProficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint\nSoft Skills:\nAbility to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex business problems and present them to the management in a structured and simpler form\nShould have excellent communication and inter-personal skills\nStrong process/project management skills\nAbility to coach and mentor juniors\nContribute to organizational initiatives in wide
