Citi is embarking on a bold multi-year transformation for the Prime Services business. If you are someone that can work in a fast-paced environment with a pragmatic approach to delivery and diligence, then please look to apply for this role. You will need to employ strong communication skills, ensure a first-class service of quality to our internal clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java and SQL, with proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts through the use of practices such as BDD.\nKey Responsibilities:\nImplement and work within a BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) automation framework.\nCreating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, test estimation, regression testing, test automation development, and other project artifacts.\nActing as a quality gate and identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs before software products are delivered to our clients.\nImplementation and execution of API based automation test for functional and non-functional testing using Citi approved tools.\nIdentifying and highlighting ways to continuously optimize the way in which QA function operates to create an efficient, scalable team.\nWork with the business and Production Support to investigate issues and prevent production defects.\nDevelop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.\nTogether with the team contribute to innovative & best-in-class solutions for our business.\nApply proven software testing concepts and methodologies to daily tasks.\nCollaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues.\nAdapt to changing business needs and effectively shift focus on priorities as required.\nRecommended Qualifications:\nProven industry experience in automation testing with strong hands-on experience in Java.\nSolid experience with BDD automation frameworks (Cucumber).\nExperience in typescript or playwright, Cypress\nStrong hands-on experience in API automation/testing.\nPrior experience in the usage of SQL for database validation and testing.\nFair working knowledge of CI/CD process, Jenkins, Git, etc\nExcellent logical, analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExposure to the Finance industry or a background in financial applications is a significant advantage.\nEducational Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent
