The position will enable you to leverage Citi’s incomparable geographical reach, product richness, and engineering expertise and to translate these into a successful and top-of-the-class product offering for our customers.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas\n\nMonitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users\n\nUtilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement\n\nRecommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality\n\nConsult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems\n\nEnsure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes\n\nServe as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts\n\nHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.\n\nCan exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.\n\nActs as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.\n\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\n\nFollow agile methodology and address new function/enhancement/fixes for existing batches and new batches\n\n Qualifications:\n4+ years of relevant experience in Java (JDK 1.8 or more) , experience with Spring Boot, KAFKA, GRPC, ECS, Mongo, REST API, JUNIT and SQL Basics\n\nJava performance tuning\n\nKubernetes, Openshift, Gradle, Splunk, Prometheus\n\nKnowledge of CI/CD Pipeline, Familiarity with TeamCity, Udeploy, Jenkins, SonarQube\n\nExperience with Design Patterns, Code Review, Coding standard, Unit testing with JNIT/Mockito\n\nExperience in systems analysis and programming of software applications\n\nExperience in managing and implementing successful projects\n\nWorking knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods\n\nAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements\n\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience\n\nRequired Skills:\nJava 17 or more\n\nLombok (for reducing boilerplate code)\n\nSpring boot, Spring JPA, Spring Cloud Config, Spring JDBC, Spring WebFlux\n\nKafka, Apache Flink, Spring Kafka\n\nDocker (for containerizing applications)\n\nKubernetes (for orchestrating containerized workloads)\n\nHelm (for managing Kubernetes applications)\n\nAutosys\n\nRelational Databases (e.g., SQL)\n\nNoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis)\n\nMicroservices Architecture\n\nCI/CC\n\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
