and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run.\nHands on technical implementation of Prime Brokerage solutions across FX and Equities using modern, cloud-native technologies and CI/CD workflows, focusing on consolidation, automation, and scalability.\nDrive the design and development of system architecture, work with end-users of the systems, and enhance the quality of deliverables Ensure staff follows Citi documented policy and procedures as well as maintain desktop procedures and supporting documentation for filings on a current basis and in comprehensive manner\nThe successful candidate will work with teams across FX Technology implement solutions that benefit the business\nCollaborate with stakeholders across FX Prime Brokerage trading , Quants and Product team to understand Payments needs, translate them into impactful data-driven solutions, and deliver these in partnership with technology.\nDesign, Development, Testing of new features in the applications.\nContinual improvement of the software development lifecycle and quality of the product.\n3rd line support of the production system (dedicated 24h support teams handle 1st / 2nd line).\nMentoring junior members of the team.\nContribute to defining and implementing best practices and processes for the department and ensure transparency and consistency across teams\nKey Skills and Experience required -\nMaster’s degree or above (or equivalent education) in a STEM discipline.\n8+ years of Proven experience in software engineering and development, and a strong understanding of computer systems and how they operate.\nHands on Experience in Java , Spring, Understanding of ultra-low-latency development practices.\nProven understanding of FX highly preferred\nWell versed with AI coding tools like Devin , Claude code and Codex and delivered production grade applications.\nProven track record of building new systems, replacing legacy systems and renovating existing systems\nStrong skill set in SQL / Databases\nStrong understanding of Messaging tech like Kafka, Solace , MQ etc.\nWriting production scale applications to use the Caching technologies.\nThe candidate will have systems (software, hardware, networks) knowledge required to define solutions and trouble shoot issues\nExceptional communicator who loves working with people, confident communicating at all levels from an individual team to the entire enterprise\nHighly credible hands on engineer, confident to deep dive into a product and codebase and offer detailed, constructive analysis and feedback\nAwareness of industry trends and leveraging new technologies as appropriate\nAny Beneficial / Nice to have skills and experience:\nUnderstanding of Openshift ,
