This role places you at the center of Citi's trading technology, solving complex problems in high-volume, low-latency financial systems.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and build scalable .NET applications that power real-time risk generation and PnL reporting for equities trading.\nWrite comprehensive unit tests using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or Shouldly to maintain code quality and reliability.\nConduct performance testing and profiling to keep applications robust and scalable under high-volume financial data processing.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve code issues and performance bottlenecks across live trading systems.\nApply design patterns and system architecture principles to solve complex technical problems within a distributed messaging environment.\nIdentify and define system enhancements by analyzing and interpreting existing application code.\nCollaborate with a globally distributed development team across Europe and India with minimal supervision.\nAct as a subject matter expert, guiding senior stakeholders and team members through technical decisions.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\nHold a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.\nBring 5 to 9 years of developer experience delivering large and complex software projects.\nApply strong C# skills across both .NET Framework 4.5.2+ and .NET 5+ environments.\nWrite comprehensive unit tests using frameworks such as NUnit, xUnit, or Shouldly.\nAnalyze and optimize .NET application performance to support high-volume, low-latency systems.\nBuild and consume REST APIs using web technologies such as OpenAPI, Swagger, authentication protocols, and TLS.\nUse version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and GitLab or GitHub to manage code delivery.\nBeneficial Skills & Qualifications\nExperience or familiarity with high-volume, low-latency, highly available financial systems, trading platforms, or financial data processing.\nExposure to additional programming languages such as Python, Java, or Bash, and operating systems such as Linux.\nUnderstanding of one or more messaging technologies such as Kafka,
