Projects will vary in size, duration, and complexity; will have significant and measurable business value outcomes; and will be highly visible with executive-level sponsorship.\nThe Vice President, will operate within a relatively flat organization and work closely with senior leaders within the Productivity organization while leading the day-to-day activities of workstreams or small projects in ongoing engagements via a matrix management structure.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPlan, lead, and manage all phases of workstreams or small projects; drive project execution and delivery, anticipate issues and risks, develop and execute mitigation strategies\nDevelop and maintain rigorous project plans and manage tactical project requirements including resources, relationships, and tasks\nIndependently think through and structure analysis plans and drive solutions to problems through identification of initial hypotheses, and creation of frameworks and methodologies\nLead the analysis of complex sets of data and business processes independently and guide, instruct, manage, and mentor junior workstream members\nHelp teams to synthesize clear findings and recommendations from complex result sets using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods\nDrive the development of the best solutions and communicate to project sponsors and senior stakeholders to motivate them to take action\nManage engagement of key stakeholders and drive adoption of recommendations and solutions\nCreate and manage the process for creation and sharing of re-usable intellectual capital, lessons learned, and contributions of relevant content to Productivity’s knowledgebase\nOptimize and design business and operating models, streamline organization structures, analyze, simplify, re-design, and rationalize process models, and design governance and policy programs\nDevelop and assess innovation opportunities, identify new sources of growth, and model new value propositions\nCollaborate with business and functional stakeholders to identify significant opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nAt least 3 to 6 years in a major management consulting firm, or equivalent experience in a large Financial Services company\nPrior experience leading and managing workstreams and small project teams in structuring, coordination, and management of activities of multiple analysts in creation of project artifacts\nExceptional written and verbal communications skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders\nMastery in the use of PowerPoint for development of project presentations and deliverables\nKnowledge and experience in the financial services industry\nBachelors degree with high marks in an analytical field; Masters degree preferred\nPREFERRED COMPETENCIES (some of the below):\nSkilled leadership in driving workstreams of large-scale transformation projects or high-impact initiatives\nProject planning, status reporting and ongoing project management\nExecutive-level stakeholder diplomacy, influencing, management\nSkilled in guiding, influencing, and convincing team members, colleagues, and stakeholders\nCommunications, training, and change management\nAnalysis plan and framework development and execution\nHypothesis generation, data analysis, root cause identification\nProcess analysis, rationalization, and design\nBusiness case and financial model development\nInitiative structuring, planning, and road-mapping\nFunctional expertise in one or more areas of the busines\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
