Based in-country, the Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for deepening wallet penetration, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the seamless delivery of Citi's products and services within the local market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the local operating environment and a strong track record of managing corporate client relationships. The overall objective is to deepen wallet penetration, drive revenue growth, and ensure the seamless delivery of Citi's products and services within the local market.\nResponsibilities: \n1. Relationship Management\nBuild and nurture trusted advisor relationships independently with key contacts at the client's local subsidiary through valuable insights and high-quality engagement.\nDevelop a comprehensive understanding of the local entity's business model, strategy, and financial wallet to identify and pursue opportunities.\nMaintain a strong and consistent calling intensity to ensure proactive and responsive client coverage within the country.\nIndependently develop and execute comprehensive account plans that align with both local subsidiary needs and global parent company objectives\nStrong focus in origination and execution of top revenue wallet opportunities\nLeads through influence, thought leadership, and a drive to execution\nMentor junior bankers in understanding client needs and identifying business opportunities\n2. In-Country Origination & Coverage\nDrive in-country wallet share growth for a portfolio of key subsidiary clients, maximizing Citi's penetration in the local market.\nLead with solutions tailored to the local market, leveraging country and sector insights while aligning with the client's global parent strategy.\nManage the local client pipeline effectively and collaborate with in-country Product Specialists to deliver banking solutions.\nTake ownership of revenue targets for an assigned portfolio with accountability for achieving and exceeding annual revenue goals\n\n3. Local Strategy & Credit\nDemonstrate advanced credit acumen and lead discussions with clients and internal stakeholders, articulating risk-return trade-offs and recommending appropriate risk mitigation strategies\nAlign account activities with local and global strategic initiatives, including country or product-specific campaigns, wallet sizing, and corridor plays.\nContribute to the development of local market strategy and product development initiatives.\nAssist in escalations from the Client Manager\nLead cross-functional teams to deliver complex, multi-product solutions, coordinating efforts across Product, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Operations\nInfluence senior stakeholders across the organization to secure resources, approvals, and support for strategic initiatives\nIdentify emerging trends and client needs, working with Product teams to develop solutions\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\nQualifications:\nExperience: 6-10 years of experience\nMarket Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local market, economic trends, and regulatory environment.\nCredit Skills: Strong credit understanding and risk assessment skills.\n Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, particularly Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) and Markets.\nClient Focus: Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a strategic advisor\nStrong planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills\nCommunication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication
