Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.\nResponsibilities:\nSupports initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production. Testing specialists who work with technology project managers, UAT professionals and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.\nConducts a variety of moderately complex process monitoring, product evaluation and audit assignments; reports issues and makes recommendations for solutions.\nEnsures project standards and procedures exist, are fully clearly documented and followed throughout the software development life cycle; makes recommendations for enhanced documentation.\nFunctional Automation for the test cases.\nMonitors products for conformance to standards; monitors processes for conformance to procedures.\nDocuments findings and performs preliminary root causes analyses to provide recommended improvements.\nEnsures all corrective actions are assigned, documented and completed.\nVerifies traceability in project work products.\nGathers, maintains and creates reports on quality metrics.\nExhibits good understanding of procedures and concepts within own technical area and a basic knowledge of these elements in other areas.\nRequires basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT Quality to achieve objectives.\nMakes evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.\nDirectly impacts the business by ensuring the quality of work provided by self and others; impacts own team and closely related work teams.\nProvides informal guidance to new team members.\nPerforms other duties and functions as assigned.\nAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.\nKnowledge/Experience:\n7+ years' experience in functional testing of complex multi-tier applications and demonstrated expertise in automating them.\nStrong experience in End-to-End system testing.\nProficient in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch, with strong skills in Java, TypeScript.\nDemonstrable knowledge of Core Java and SQL, with working knowledge of interacting with multiple databases and complex software systems.\nProven track record in successful automation of testing for large platforms.\nFamiliarity with AI testing methodologies, tools like Co-pilot, Claude.\nPerformance testing (Good to have).\nPython (Good to have)\nExperience working with global teams.\nMust Have Skills:\nJava\nDBMS\nGIT\nBitbucket\nJIRA\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience\nThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
