design, build, testing, and implementation, while providing operational support to business users.\nApply backend development expertise to analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, and assess alignment with industry standards.\nDesign and recommend security enhancements based on post-implementation reviews to strengthen system performance and reliability.\nAdvise users, clients, and technology teams on technical challenges and recommend advanced programming solutions.\nDefine technical standards and operating procedures that guide application development practices.\nMentor junior developers and analysts, sharing backend development expertise across the team.\nEvaluate risk in technical and business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to protect Citi and its clients.\nRequired Qualifications & Skills\n5 to 8 years of experience in systems analysis and software application development, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nProficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in big data technologies such as Apache Spark and PyCharm.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and database management.\nExposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot and agent-based integrations.\nExperience managing and delivering technology projects, supported by practical knowledge of project management methods.\nAbility to work under pressure and quickly adapt to shifting deadlines, new tools, and changing requirements.\nAdvanced English proficiency to collaborate with global teams.\nBeneficial Skills & Qualifications\nExperience with microservices development and API integration.\nFamiliarity with Citi's technology environment.\nAn open, curious
