This includes defining use case requirements, validating outputs, and ensuring the resulting tooling is fit for finance-wide reuse. The output of this work will establish the reusable OM / AI pattern that subsequent Finance teams will adopt.\nThis role requires an understanding of OM and AI strategic direction of the Finance function, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in Liquidity Operations process. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Impact reflects strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions and businesses.\nResponsibilities\nLead the development of AI tooling in order to develop a Finance wide common capability for variance analysis, including daily and periodic identification, root-cause analysis, and escalation of material variances across product, entity, and currency dimensions.\nPartner within Treasury, across Finance, and with Technology to identify consistent attribution of variance drivers - including intra-day movements, and operational breaks.\nProduce and present executive-level commentary and analysis to senior management on progress\nDrive the operating model process including escalation paths and documentation\nQualifications\n15+ years of experience within financial services; specifically, within Liquidity Management, Operations and Reporting\nPrior involvement in data, technology, or operational model transformation programs - ideally including AI, automation, or analytics-led change.\nEstablished influencing/leadership skills with the ability to mediate discussions and draw consensus\nStrong problem-solving skills with an ability to rapidly assimilate complex information across\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively across businesses and functions to deliver results\nAbility to prioritize and ability to work under pressure\nEducation\nBachelor's degree required / MBA degree preferred This role is a project based role and is expected to last 24 months.\n------------------------------------------------------\nJob Family Group:\nFinance------------------------------------------------------\nJob Family:\nLiquidity Management------------------------------------------------------\nTime Type:\nFull time------------------------------------------------------\nPrimary Location:\nNew York New York United States------------------------------------------------------\nPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range:\n$170,000.00 - $300,000.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
