We are seeking an experienced VisionPLUS Developer with strong expertise in the Cards and Payments domain to join our Core Banking / Payments Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and maintain core card management application modules using the VisionPLUS suite on Mainframe systems. You will work closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, and Solution Architects to build scalable, high-performing solution components for credit, debit, and prepaid card processing.
Responsibilities:
- Development and Customization: Design, code, unit test, and maintain VisionPLUS applications and business modules (e. g., CMS, FAS, LMS, TRAMS, ITS, WNG/VMx).
- Core Mainframe Programming: Write and modify complex COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM utilities for both online and batch processing environments.
- System Integration: Analyze integration touchpoints between VisionPLUS modules, payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), and downstream core banking systems or microservices APIs.
- Business Requirement Analysis: Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical design documents, flowcharts, and Source-to-Target mapping specifications.
- Production Support and Maintenance: Provide L2/L3 support for batch job failures, root-cause analysis (RCA), emergency fixes, and performance tuning for critical card-processing batch windows.
