Automation Tester

The Automation Tester role is critical to driving innovation within our testing practices. This position focuses on automating manual functional and regression test cases, accelerating test execution cycles while leveraging AI-driven tools for advanced optimization.

The individual in this role will apply expertise in test automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and SQL to improve efficiency, accuracy, and test coverage across our testing environment. This role plays a key part in enhancing the quality and scalability of our testing processes through modern automation and intelligent solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Test Automation:

  Design and implement robust automation for manual functional and regression test cases.

• AI-Powered Optimization:

  Integrate AI tools to optimize test execution, enhance test case generation, and improve defect detection.

• SQL-Driven Validation:

  Utilize advanced SQL scripting for comprehensive data validation and back-end testing.

• Framework Development:

  Contribute to the enhancement of scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.

• Quality Assurance:

  Conduct in-depth software QA testing, create detailed test scripts, and manage defect resolution.

• Documentation:

  Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and optimization strategies.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements and integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Problem Resolution:

  Apply analytical expertise to diagnose and implement effective solutions for complex testing challenges.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant testing experience, with a demonstrated focus ontest automation.

• Proven experience in automating manual functional and regression test cases.

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test data management.

• Basic understanding of, and keen interest in,AI tools and their application in optimizing testing processes.

• Analytical skills and the ability to work independently on challenging tasks.

• Familiarity with software application testing methodologies and automation tools.

• Ability to understand and articulate how testing efforts contribute to broader team and organizational objectives

• Bachelor's/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
