# Apprentice Water Production

Overview We have multiple opportunities for a candidate to start as a Water Production Apprentice and grow into the Maintenance Relief Operator role! The successful candidate will perform a variety of operations and maintenance functions at the water production and related facilities. This is a skilled maintenance position that also performs operational duties under the direction of a certified operator while gaining experience required to obtain an operating license. This is a serious trade with strong demands that are minimally affected by the ups and downs of the economy. Upon completing the 18 month Apprentice program, employees are placed in the Maintenance Relief Operator position and the hourly wage will increase to $39.43.
