Interns work on projects that support our business and communities, while also participating in professional development activities, networking events, mentorship opportunities, and site visits designed to help them grow personally and professionally. While some positions may offer hybrid work flexibility, interns are encouraged to connect with peers and leaders through required in-person program events throughout the summer, creating a collaborative and memorable internship experience.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with a Meter Services mentor to learn department operations, data sources, and business processes.\n\nComplete guided projects involving data cleanup, validation, organization, and analysis.\nHelp create data inventories, SOPs, work instructions, checklists, and process maps. \nBuild experience with reports, dashboards, data summaries, and improvement activities. \nParticipate in coaching, training, regular check-ins, and professional development. \nPresent completed work, lessons learned, and recommendations to the team. \nQualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a college or university undergraduate or graduate program.\n\nStudying Data Analytics, MIS, Information Systems, Data Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.\n\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.\n\nCurious, dependable, organized, and receptive to coaching and feedback.\n\nStrong analytical, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.\n\nAbility to appropriately handle company data and information.\n\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nCoursework or experience with Excel data analysis, Power BI, SQL, SharePoint, OneDrive, Visio, or databases.\n\nExposure to data cleanup, reporting, visualization, process improvement, or SOP development.\n\nInterest in utility operations and data-driven decision-making.\n\nJob Posting Deadline: Monday, November 23, 2026 Citizens is a drug-free, Equal Opportunity Employer.
