(CFG) seeks a Software Engineer II for its Short Hills, New Jersey location.\nResponsibilities:\nContribute to design and architecture for the technology solutions.\nResponsible for Designing, modifying, developing, and implementing technology solutions.\nBuild modern, architecturally sound components, tools, and applications to meet mission-driven strategic business goals.\nParticipate in an environment rapidly transforming to the Agile methodology, adhering to best practices, and collaborating effectively with teammates.\nAnalyze technology needs and gather technical requirements.\nInfuse quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability, and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to create or expand business or technical capabilities.\nParticipate in code and design reviews to ensure that solutions meet the enterprise standards and best practices.\nDocument development iterations; ensuring the quality of technical documentation; creating progress reports.\nCollaborate with cross functional team members as necessary and come up with optimal solutions that meet solution demands.\nExecute unit test of the developed functionality in target environment, validate expected result and ensure quality & accuracy.\nCoordinate with business users for user acceptance test and with operations team for code deployment to upper environments.\nFollow change management team stipulations on path to production requirements and strictly adhere to the compliance and regulatory needs.\nQualifications:\nRequires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related position involving software development.\nFull term of experience must include:\nArchitecting, designing, developing, implementing, and managing AWS Cloud solutions;\nUtilizing highly automated CI/CD pipelines , including Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, GIT, Nexus, Maven and Bitbucket;\nDeveloping software in object oriented programming languages, including C, C++, VC++, and JAVA;\nWeb application development utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, & XML;\nUtilizing IDE and development tools, including IntelliJ, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, Putty, WinSCP, Maven, and Nexus repository; and\nUtilizing RDBMS and NOSQL databases, including MySQL.\nRemote work permitted 1 day per week.\nWorksite: 101 John F Kennedy Pkwy., Short Hills, NJ 07078 United States, 40 hrs/wk.
