SPPU oper ates centrally in the University, reporting directly into the University’s Deputy President (Operations) and working closely with the University Senior Leadership team. \n The directorate's activities include strategy formation and deployment, academic and financial planning, business intelligence, student management information, statutory assurance, performance, benchmarking, and league tables analysis.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nThe Senior Planning & Data Analyst role within SPPU has specific responsibilities for the reporting of student management information. Principally, this will be providing management information on City St. George’s students for internal audiences through the design and development of data dashboards. A key component to the role is to support the transition away from ad hoc requests towards a self-service model for student data that supports the needs of key groups and communities. \n\nPerson Specification\n\nCandidates will have experience of data analysis or business intelligence and of delivering high-quality reports and dashboards that communicate clear insights to key stakeholders. Candidate will be highly numerate with experience of analysing a range of different types of data (student/staff/financial), have excellent attention to detail, and strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
