The Facilities Manager is responsible for assisting with management of contract compliance for designated building maintenance services, as well as maintaining the relationship between City Wide and Independent Contractors. Employee must possess ability to review the client contract and check that work expectations have been met.\nTHIS ROLE REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO TRAVEL WITHIN A SERVICE AREA:\nService Areas:\nBergen County\nPassaic County\n Pay Rate Depends on Experience and Capabilities ($21/hr - $24/hr).\nLooking for part time up to full time employment. Hours vary throughout the week but are sometime between 12pm to 9pm. Primarily 2nd shift.\nEssential functions\nDevelop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problems.\nReview scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new business.\nCommunicate with Facility Services Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recap via email or phone message.\nMake recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and discharge if not meeting service level agreement.\nManage inspections, customer complaints, customer requests, new client starts, or VIP treatment needing attention.\nExecute City Wide’s New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other operational policies and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with client policies & procedures, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper use.\nReliable transportation a must (car allowance provided in addition to hourly compensation).\nOther duties as necessary.\nRequirements\n High school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry.\n 3 years of prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing, and leading a team in multi-unit or locations.\n 3-5 years of Janitorial / Building Maintenance Experience\n Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detail.\n Bilingual is a plus!\n Reliable transportation\n Willingness and ability to clean and assist if needed.\n CRM experience preferred.\n Physical Demands\nThe physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking.
