The products we run over it lead the way on speed, value and service - helping businesses to innovate, communities to thrive, and people to live more connected digital lives.\nAt CityFibre, you’ll be part of something bigger, helping to build a better-connected Britain, together.\nJoining us as a Data Solution Architect\nYou'll play a key role in shaping and delivering CityFibre's enterprise data architecture, designing scalable data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions that support our wider business transformation.\nWorking closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners, you'll take ownership of end-to-end solution architecture, translating complex business requirements into practical, secure and future-ready technology solutions.\nYou'll receive a salary of up to £87,000, depending on experience, alongside a performance-related bonus and a range of flexible benefits.\nThis is some of what you can expect to be doing:\nLead the end-to-end solution architecture and design of enterprise data platforms, data products, analytics and AI-enabled solutions, from initial requirements through to implementation\nPartner with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, challenge assumptions and ensure architectural decisions align with business objectives\nEvaluate technology options, architectural trade-offs, risks and dependencies, balancing business value, scalability, cost and delivery considerations\nDesign modern cloud-based data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, integration frameworks and enterprise analytics platforms\nEstablish and maintain architecture principles, reference architectures, governance standards and technology roadmaps across data and AI solutions\nProvide architectural leadership to engineering and delivery teams, influencing technical decisions and ensuring solutions are delivered in line with agreed designs\nSupport the adoption of emerging technologies, including Generative AI, Agentic BI and intelligent automation, identifying opportunities to deliver measurable business value\nWhat you'll bring to the role\nYou'll be an experienced Data Solution Architect with a strong background in enterprise data architecture, cloud technologies and end-to-end solution design, combined with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.\nYou'll also have:\nProven experience owning end-to-end solution architecture within large, complex enterprise environments\nStrong experience designing modern data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses and integration architectures\nExperience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS, alongside platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks and modern analytics solutions\nExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge requirements, influence decisions and communicate architectural trade-offs\nStrong understanding of architecture governance, data modelling, integration patterns and solution design standards\nAbility to provide architectural leadership across technical teams, navigate ambiguity and balance business priorities with delivery considerations\nExperience within telecommunications or other complex, data-driven industries would be advantageous, alongside exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI and architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or TM Forum.\nLife at CityFibre\nEveryone deserves to feel heard, valued and truly included.
