Join us in shaping the future of public transport by driving the next phase of CitySwift’s growth.\nRole Overview:\nThis role will lead how CitySwift engages with transport authorities, helping position our platform as a strategic solution for network planning, performance management, service improvement and policy outcomes.\nYou will bring deep expertise in public transport planning and authority-led transport governance, enabling CitySwift to better understand the priorities, challenges and decision-making processes of transport authorities across diverse markets.\nWorking closely with Sales, Partner Management and Product, you will act as the authority subject matter expert, helping shape market strategy, support strategic opportunities, influence product direction, and ensure CitySwift's solutions align with the evolving needs of public transport authorities.\nYou will play a key role in strengthening CitySwift's position within the authority market, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and helping expand our presence across EMEA.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead CitySwift's engagement strategy with transport authorities\nAct as a subject matter expert on authority priorities, including network planning, service performance, franchising, procurement, decarbonisation, accessibility and passenger outcomes\nPartner with Sales and Partner Management on strategic authority opportunities, acting as the authority subject matter expert throughout the pre-sales process. Lead authority-focused discovery, solution design, value articulation, and business case development, helping to create compelling value propositions that address customer needs and support successful outcomes.\nBuild and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across transport authorities, government bodies, and regional transport agencies\nServe as the primary authority solution expert throughout intricate sales cycles, procurement workflows, and strategic client engagements.\nLead technical data discovery with prospective authority clients, assessing their data sources, quality, integration requirements and readiness\nWork closely with Product to ensure authority requirements, market trends and regulatory developments are reflected in product strategy and roadmap decisions\nIdentify emerging market opportunities, policy developments, funding programmes and procurement trends across EMEA\nSupport thought leadership activities, industry engagement, conferences and strategic customer events\nContribute to CitySwift's market expansion strategy by identifying opportunities to strengthen our position within the authority sector\nSupport Partner Managers with executive stakeholder engagement, strategic reviews and long-term account development, including hands-on support for selected strategic accounts in-life\nProvide specialist authority expertise to Sales, Partner Management and Product teams, reducing dependency on operational leadership for subject matter support.\nDrive authority new business acquisition, accelerate pipeline conversion rates, deepen stakeholder engagement, and shape strategic product roadmap priorities\nQualifications, Skills & Experience\nSignificant experience working with or for transport authorities, public sector transport organisations, or related consultancy environments\nStrong understanding of public transport planning, network design, service performance management and authority decision-making processes\nExperience engaging with senior stakeholders within transport authorities, government agencies, or regional transport bodies\nStrong understanding of public transport policy, procurement, franchising, funding and data environments\nAbility to translate complex transport challenges into strategic, customer-facing solutions\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills\nCommercial awareness and experience supporting customer-facing discussions and business case development\nExperience working across international markets\nInterest in working closely with product teams to shape solutions and market strategy\nWillingness to travel\nWe value, recognise and reward our people:\nA role with real scope, where your impact is visible, your salary is reviewed as we grow, and there are career progression opportunities as the company scales and internationalises. \nComprehensive health and life insurance through Laya Healthcare in Ireland and Aviva in the UK.\nFlexible working with hybrid working as the default in Ireland, core hours of 10am to 4pm, remote options depending on role and a work abroad programme of up to 6 weeks.\n25 days annual leave from day one, increasing by half a day per year of service, plus company days off, a half day before public holidays and an end of year shutdown.\nEnhanced family leave, including 6 months fully paid maternity leave and 3 weeks paid paternity leave after 18 months’ service (and wedding leave!)\nAnd on top of all of this, the usuals done well.
