The Housekeeping Supervisor goes above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer service. The successful incumbent works as a member of the Housekeeping Team to achieve overall performance goals, identify opportunities, and maintain an efficient, effective work environment. This position will be on a rotation basis 20 days on, 10 days off as required by the business.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuilding, strengthening and maintaining excellent communication skills with all our employees\nSupervising housekeeping staff (Camp Attendants, Janitors & other workers)\nEnsuring quality and standards are being met or exceeded\nAssigning rooms to Camp Attendants\nPreparing morning briefings (toolbox notes)\nTraining new employees on standards and expectations\nChecking the linen counts for laundry pickup and delivery days\nAssisting with safety meetings\nAssisting with inventory counts and ordering as required\nAssisting and coordinating with front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences\nQualifications\nMinimum of 3-years’ experience in a supervisory role in a related industry\nFront office experience is an asset, formal housekeeping training is required\nComputer literacy in Microsoft products including Excel and Word\nFamiliarity with hotel management/ property systems would be an asset\nMust be able to pass Pre-Access (drug/alcohol) test\nExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)\nAble to manage time efficiently\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to make sound decisions quickly\nStrong organizational skills\nJoin our global team of hospitality-minded specialists and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those living and working away from home.\nWhile we own an incredible responsibility to provide remarkable service to our guests from various walks of life, we are also strongly committed to providing inclusive, equitable and respectful workplace to our employees and for our communities we serve.\nWe continuously seek to improve our diversity and inclusion practices to establish a respectful and collaborative workforce.
