We’re seeking a commercially minded, people-focused Operations Manager to provide leadership and operational direction across three villages, driving safe, profitable and high-quality hospitality services.\nReporting to the General Manager, Resident Experience, you will lead and support Village Managers while acting as a key point of contact for client representatives across two client contracts. You’ll combine hands-on operational leadership with strong commercial oversight, ensuring the operation delivers against client expectations, financial targets, safety requirements and service standards.\nThis is a highly visible leadership position suited to someone who can confidently lead a complex operation, build trusted client relationships and develop capable site leaders. You’ll work closely with operational and support teams to maintain strong governance, improve performance and create a consistently high standard of service across catering, cleaning, wellness, safety and other village services.\nThe position operates on a 5:2 roster, with weekly travel to site.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead operational performance, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery across the operation. \nLead, coach and support Village Managers and site leadership, setting clear objectives and driving accountability for performance. \nBuild strong relationships with client representatives and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted operational partner. \nMaintain a strong understanding of client agreements, including occupancy, revenue and agreed service levels. \nDrive performance against operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and customer outcomes. \nWork closely with operational and support functions to ensure initiatives, systems and processes are effectively implemented. \nMaintain strong safety, quality and environmental standards, including relevant ISO and HACCP requirements. \nProvide commercial oversight of the operation, including budgets, P&L performance and achievement of EBITDA targets. \nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement without compromising safety, employee experience or customer satisfaction. \nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety and continuous improvement. \nExperience:\nSolidmanagement experience within the accommodation, mining, minerals & resources sector or remote workforce environments will be highly regarded. \nExperience leading operational teams and developing frontline leaders in a FIFO environment. \nDemonstrated accountability for client relationships and delivery against contractual service expectations. \nExperience understanding and managing Profit & Loss performance. \nExperience working with ISO, HACCP and other relevant quality standards. \nA practical, solutions-focused leadership style with the ability to manage competing operational priorities. \nSkills & Qualifications:\nRelevant tertiary qualification in Business or Hospitality, and/or extensive demonstrated management experience, is desirable. \nStrong business management and financial analysis capability. \nHighly developed people leadership and stakeholder management skills. \nStrong negotiation and relationship-building capability. \nWorking knowledge of accommodation management systems. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel. \nWorking knowledge of JDE, Triniteq and Kronos is desirable. \nStrong planning, organisation and decision-making capability. \nAbility to remain focused, accountable and solutions-oriented in a demanding operational environment. \nOpen manual Class C driver’s licence. \nWhy Civeo\nConnected and engaged leadership \nGrowth environment / Growth mindset \nOrganisational Development & Learning \nThe Civeo Hive Rewards & Recognition Program \nHealth & Wellness Program \nStay Well Work Well on site - flights, accommodation, meals and recreation costs covered \nRelocation considered to Adelaide, SA. \nAbout Us\nCiveo Australia, a division of Civeo Corporation, provides workforce accommodation services globally.
