Our award-winning practice has studios in Manchester, London, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dublin.\nAs a Civil Engineering Technician, you will help shape sustainable designs that protect our climate and enhance the built environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute technical expertise across a varied portfolio of projects, working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver thoughtful, high-quality engineering solutions.\nResponsibilities\nCivil engineering BIM modelling using BIM compatible programmes suitable to discipline, including the full Autodesk Suite of programmes and Causeway Flow.\nPrepare and self-check drawings and models.\nCoordinate drawings and models with internal and external design teams.\nUndertake internal and external training.\nAssist Engineering Technicians.\nTransmit documents to external parties and manage associated documentation.\nWork in compliance with the duties of Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015.\nWork in compliance with the practice IMS.\nLiaise with Engineers and review production of information on a project-by-project basis.\nGuide Apprentice and Junior Technicians.\nRequirements\nCompetencies\nDegree, HNC, or HND in civil engineering.\n3-5 years of experience as a civil engineering technician.\nExperience preparing and self-checking civil engineering drawings and models.\nGood knowledge of drawing/modelling software as appropriate, including Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Revit.\nExperience with Causeway Flow for civil engineering BIM modelling.\nGood knowledge and understanding of the CDM 2015 regulations.\nGood knowledge of Civic CAD/ BIM Standards documents.\nExperience transmitting documents to external parties and managing associated documentation.\nExperience working in compliance with an integrated management system (IMS).\nExperience coordinating drawings and models with internal and external design teams.\nExperience liaising with Engineers to review production information on a project-by-project basis.\nEligible to work in the United Kingdom.\nExperience working across several project sectors is a plus.\nExperience working with both private-sector and public-sector clients is a plus.\nBenefits\nFlexibility.
