You will work across contracts, bids and customer relationships, partnering with sales, delivery and commercial colleagues to manage risk, strengthen governance and support growth.\nWhat you will do to be successful in this role\nResponsibilities:\nSupport Commercial Business Partners with bids and tenders, including commercial reviews, risk assessments and contract negotiations for complex, strategic and high-value accounts.\nHelp ensure contracts comply with internal policies, legal requirements and applicable public sector regulations.\nIdentify and manage commercial risks, escalating issues when necessary to protect Civica’s commercial position.\nProduce reporting on commercial activities, risks and issues to support informed decision-making.\nFollow commercial processes that enable effective contract tracking and order booking.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes and controls, including the adoption of new tools.\nRequirements\nProven experience in a commercial contract's rolewith a good understanding of contract law, pricing models and commercial risk.\nExperience working with government frameworks, ideally in software, technology or public sector environments.\nFinancial literacy, with the ability to interpret payment profiles, margins and costs.\nA collaborative and outcome-focused approach, with confidence working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise work across a varied portfolio.\nAlso, a knowledge of SaaS or software licensing models and experience using CLM systems or Salesforce would be advantageous, but not necessary. \nWe Want You to Bring Your Whole Self to Work\nThere is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list above, please still get in touch.
