You'll help shape how data flows across the organisation, supporting major business transformation initiatives while establishing the standards, governance, and architectural principles that will underpin our future state.\nWorking closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, and strategic partners including Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia and PwC, you'll have the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest level while remaining hands-on in delivering practical outcomes. This role offers genuine ownership, visibility, and the ability to leave a lasting impact across a global organisation.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn and develop Civica's enterprise data and integration architecture strategy\nDocument and define current-state and future-state data architecture across the organisation\nDesign scalable data models, integration patterns, and migration strategies that support business transformation\nProvide architectural leadership across major programmes including ERP, professional services automation, integration, and data transformation initiatives\nProvide expert advice and guidance data governance standards, quality controls, and master data management approaches\nSupport large-scale data migration activities \nDefine transition states from legacy to target architectures\nWork closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure architectural alignment and successful delivery\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executive and non-technical audiences\nProvide oversight and guidance on data security, compliance, and regulatory requirements\nAct as the subject matter authority for enterprise data architecture across central functions\nRequirements\nSignificant experience in Enterprise Data Architecture within complex organisations\nStrong expertise in enterprise data modelling, integration architecture, and large-scale data migration programmes\nExperience designing and delivering data architecture strategies that support business transformation\nAbility to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach\nExperience working across multiple enterprise platforms and complex technology landscapes\nStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level\nProven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences\nExperience establishing data governance frameworks, standards, and controls\nKnowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and best practice architecture principles\nA track record of driving architectural change in fast-paced and evolving environments\nNice to have\nExperience with Salesforce, NetSuite, Certinia, or similar enterprise SaaS platforms\nExposure to private equity-backed or high-growth businesses\nExperience supporting analytics, reporting, AI, or data platform initiatives\nExperience creating enterprise-wide master data management approaches\nExperience working with global teams and third-party implementation partners\nWhat makes this opportunity unique?\nOwn the enterprise data architecture function within a growing global organisation\nShape the future-state data landscape across multiple major transformation programmes\nPlay a key role in Civica's AI-first strategy, ensuring data becomes a foundational business capability\nInfluence executive decision-making and technology strategy\nLead architectural direction across initiatives including finance transformation, professional services automation, integrations, and data migration programmes\nCreate the foundations for a single source of truth across the organisation\nJoin a business investing heavily in technology modernisation and digital transformation\nWe Want You to Bring Your Whole Self to Work\nThere is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list above, please still get in touch.
