This position offers the opportunity to work on strategic initiatives, system enhancements, and continuous improvement projects that directly influence the way our finance teams operate.\nA key aspect of this role is advanced Excel expertise. You'll be working with large and complex datasets, using sophisticated Excel functions, data analysis techniques, and reporting tools to support financial processes, investigate data issues, improve data quality, and drive informed decision-making. Strong hands-on experience with Excel is essential.\nYou will also contribute to automation and system optimisation initiatives, helping reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and unlock valuable insights that support business growth and performance.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPartner with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements across finance systems and reporting platforms.\nSupport the full lifecycle of system improvements, including requirements gathering, data analysis, testing, reporting development, and release activities.\nAct as a Finance Systems Super User, helping maintain system integrity, governance standards, and data consistency across platforms.\nAnalyse, validate, reconcile, and consolidate large volumes of financial and operational data from multiple sources.\nUtilise advanced Excel capabilities to investigate issues, support month-end activities, develop reports, and provide meaningful business insights.\nIdentify and deliver opportunities for automation, process improvement, and enhanced reporting capability.\nSupport data integrations and ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of information flowing across finance systems.\nCollaborate with Finance, Technology, and wider business teams to implement scalable and sustainable solutions that improve user experience and business performance.\nRequirements\nWhat You’ll Need to Succeed in This Role\nEssential Skills & Experience\nProven experience driving process improvements and implementing system enhancements that deliver measurable business value.\nA genuine interest in data, systems, and continuous process optimisation.\nSound understanding of management accounting principles, practices, and reporting requirements.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.\nA proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to analyse issues and resolve them in a structured and logical manner.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including advanced Excel skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.\nHigh attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and continuous self-review of work outputs.\nDesirable Skills & Qualifications\nExperience using Workday Adaptive Planning or a similar Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) platform.\nBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.\nExperience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.\nBenefits\nWhy you'll love working with us.\nWe know that when our people are happy, they will work better and have greater work satisfaction.
