Our technology is engineered from the ground up to make our customers’ projects more precise, simple, and efficient than ever before.\nJoin us and become an integral member of our dynamic team, leading the charge in pioneering construction robotics innovation!\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to own and continuously improve the testing and validation of our robotics products.\nYou will test the complete system, including Android applications, robotics software, hardware integrations, cloud services, and autonomous workflows. The role combines hands-on testing with test automation and requires thinking beyond individual software features to validate how the entire robotic system behaves in real-world scenarios.\nYou will work closely with robotics, software, hardware, product, and field teams to identify issues early, improve product reliability, and ensure every release is ready for deployment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute test plans and test cases for robotics products and applications.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.\nBuild and maintain automated testing infrastructure and test workflows.\nTest Android applications used to operate and configure robotic systems.\nValidate complete workflows such as robot connection, mission loading, operation, stopping, reporting, and configuration.\nRun tests using HITL/simulation environments as well as physical robotic systems.\nDevelop and maintain long-running reliability and endurance tests, including overnight and multi-hour operation.\nPerform exploratory and randomized testing to identify unexpected failures and edge cases.\nValidate new features and releases and ensure existing functionality is not affected.\nReproduce, document, and track issues with clear steps, logs, and supporting data.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to investigate failures and verify fixes.\nContinuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and release quality.\nRequirements\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.\nExperience: 3+ years of professional experience in software QA, test automation, system testing, or a related role.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong experience with software testing methodologies and test automation.\nExperience testing complex systems involving multiple software and hardware components.\nExperience developing automated tests using Python or similar scripting languages.\nExperience with Android application testing.\nExperience with API and integration testing.\nComfortable working with Linux and command-line tools.\nAbility to analyze logs, system behavior, and failures across multiple components.\nFamiliarity with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong understanding of regression testing, release validation, and defect management.\nSoft Skills\nStrong problem-solving and debugging abilities.\nExceptional attention to detail.\nAbility to think creatively about how systems can fail.\nStrong ownership mindset and commitment to product quality.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\nClear written and verbal communication.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience testing robotics or autonomous systems.\nFamiliarity with ROS/ROS2.\nExperience with simulation, SIL, or HITL testing.\nExperience testing systems combining mobile apps, cloud services, embedded software, sensors, and robotics.\nExperience building automated or agentic testing systems.\nFamiliarity with long-duration, stress, reliability, and fault-injection testing.\nExperience with Docker and containerized environments.\nExperience working with hardware or robots in the field.\nWhy Join Us\nWork on cutting-edge robotics technology deployed on real construction sites.\nOwn quality across the complete robotics stack, from applications and cloud services to autonomous machines.\nJoin a tight-knit, multidisciplinary team with significant ownership and fast decision cycles.\nHelp shape the testing infrastructure and quality processes of a rapidly growing robotics company.\nBenefits & Perks\nComprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision) for you and your family.\nCompetitive salary with growth potential.\nEquity options in a fast-growing robotics company.\nCompensation\nThe base pay range for this role is $110,000 -
