The role will work closely with different departments and external stakeholders, providing guidance on environmental and sustainability matters, monitoring relevant regulatory developments, coordinating projects, and supporting sustainability reporting and data management. The ideal candidate is an experienced sustainability professional with strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills who can independently manage multiple topics and drive progress across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and coordinate the company's environmental and sustainability activities, ensuring that agreed objectives and initiatives are effectively followed up. \nMonitor relevant environmental and sustainability legislation, regulations, and standards, keeping the company informed of important developments. \nMonitor regulatory developments and assess their potential impact on the business, coordinating appropriate actions with relevant stakeholders. \nLead and coordinate sustainability and environmental projects across different departments, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners. \nCollect, analyze, and consolidate environmental and sustainability data to support reporting, KPIs, management information, and sustainability disclosures. \nOversee the preparation and coordination of sustainability-related reports, documentation, and management information. \nAct as a key point of contact for environmental and sustainability-related matters, providing guidance and practical recommendations to colleagues and management. \nStay up to date with developments in sustainability, environmental protection, climate change, and related legislation, translating relevant developments into clear and actionable information for the business. \nCoordinate internal awareness and training initiatives, helping colleagues understand their responsibilities in relation to environmental and sustainability matters. \nManage relationships with external consultants, suppliers, auditors, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders where required. \nEnsure that relevant environmental and sustainability requirements are properly addressed and followed up across the organization. \nContribute to the continuous development of the company's sustainability approach by monitoring relevant industry developments and established best practices and bringing relevant opportunities to the attention of management. \nWhat You Bring to the Table\nA Master's degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in sustainability, environmental management, environmental sciences, climate, engineering, business, or a related field, or comparable qualifications. \nAt least 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in environmental management, sustainability, ESG, regulatory compliance, corporate sustainability, environmental consulting, or a comparable field. \nA good understanding of environmental and sustainability regulations and standards. \nExperience managing sustainability or environmental projects and coordinating activities across different departments. \nExperience working with environmental and sustainability data, reporting, KPIs, and management information. \nStrong analytical skills and confidence working with data. You consider Excel a friend rather than a foe. \nStrong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage several topics and stakeholders simultaneously. \nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills and confidence working with colleagues across different departments and levels of the organization. \nA proactive and independent approach, with the ability to identify potential risks, ensure appropriate follow-up, and keep projects moving forward. \nA quick comprehension, interdisciplinary mindset, and strong analytical and strategic thinking. \nFluent in English.
