This role supports valuation engagements by performing financial analyses, assisting in model development, and contributing to client deliverables.\nAs an Associate in Valuation, your duties will include:\nValuation Execution & Technical Analysis\nPerform financial analysis and transactional modeling to support valuation assignments.\nApply income, market, and cost/asset approaches to value business enterprises, intellectual property, intangible assets, and securities.\nAssist in the valuation of common and preferred stock, debt instruments, options, warrants, and embedded derivatives.\nAssist in preparing valuation analyses for business entities, securities, and intangible assets under supervision.\nDraft sections of valuation reports that clearly communicate technical findings and support strategic conclusions.\nLitigation & Cross-Functional Support\nSupport valuation components of forensic, litigation, and investigative assignments, including economic damages and regulatory matters.\nContribute to valuation support for Assurance and Tax teams through data gathering, preliminary modeling, and documentation.\nCollaboration & Mentorship\nCollaborate with team members to resolve valuation-related questions and ensure consistency in deliverables.\nCollaborate with team members and seek mentorship to enhance technical and consulting capabilities.\nEngage in training sessions and internal initiatives to build valuation expertise and consulting acumen.\nInnovation & Process Improvement\nContribute to the development and testing of automation tools to streamline valuation workflows and improve analytical efficiency.\nCompliance & Documentation\nMaintain organized workpapers and adhere to professional standards, documentation protocols, and confidentiality requirements.\nWhat you will need:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.\nPrior experience in valuation or financial consulting preferred.\nProgress toward ABV, ASA, CVA, or related certification preferred.\nWorking towards CFA, CPA or other post-graduate degree or relevant industry/service certification\nProficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.\nFamiliarity with valuation standards and complex financial instruments.\nProficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products(Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required\nThis position requires frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.\nOur approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth.
