This role is responsible for designing and enforcing data governance policies, standards, and processes; driving data governance and data quality conformance; and partnering with business and technical leaders to promote consistent, responsible, and compliant use of data.\nHow you’ll create opportunities in this Senior Data Governance Analyst role:\nLead the implementation and enhancement of enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and processes aligned with CLA’s enterprise data strategy.\nIdentify gaps in data governance processes and lead continuous improvement efforts, including governance conformance monitoring and resolution of data issues.\nDefine governance requirements for enterprise metadata, including business terms, critical data elements, definitions, rules, lineage, ownership, and accountability.\nLead data governance intake and prioritization, assessing impact and effort and developing recommendations for consideration by the Data Governance Council.\nFacilitate cross-functional data decisions among data stewards, custodians, subject matter experts, business stakeholders, and technical teams, documenting decisions and escalating unresolved issues as appropriate.\nOwn the lifecycle of assigned data governance artifacts, including drafting, review, approval, publication, versioning, and scheduled refreshes.\nPartner with Compliance & Risk, Security, Legal, Metadata Management, and other stakeholders to support governance requirements, risk management, data quality, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.\nDevelop and deliver training, communications, and guidance that strengthen data governance adoption, responsible data use, stewardship, and data literacy across the organization.\nWhat you will need:\n4 or more years of relevant experience, including experience in data governance or data management.\nBachelor’s degree required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree. A degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.\nStrong understanding of data governance principles, policies, standards, and best practices, including the ability to develop policies and translate them into measurable KPIs, OKRs, and conformance testing.\nWorking fluency with DAMA-DMBOK, particularly Data Governance, Metadata Management, Reference and Master Data, and Data Quality, along with knowledge of privacy and security regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.\nAbility to facilitate cross-functional working sessions, read logical and physical data models, trace business terms to source systems, and communicate effectively with business leaders, data stewards, SMEs, custodians, and technical teams.\nTravel: Less than 10%.\nOur Perks:\nFlexible
