This individual will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure, accelerating platform engineering initiatives, and enabling scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions across the firm.\nThis role partners closely with engineering, security, operations, and business technology teams to define platform architecture standards, establish automation frameworks, and drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and cloud best practices.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nPlatform Architecture & Strategy\nDefine and maintain the enterprise platform architecture roadmap.\nDesign scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions.\nEstablish architectural standards, patterns, and governance models for platform services.\nProvide technical leadership on platform modernization initiatives.\nCloud & Infrastructure Engineering\nDesign and optimize Azure-based platform services and infrastructure.\nLead adoption of cloud-native architectures and services.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend platform improvements.\nDrive infrastructure scalability, observability, resiliency, and cost optimization efforts.\nDevOps & Automation\nDevelop and promote Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, or comparable technologies).\nDefine and enhance CI/CD pipeline architectures and deployment strategies.\nImplement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and developer experience.\nPromote DevOps best practices across engineering teams.\nSite Reliability & Operational Excellence\nEstablish reliability, monitoring, logging, and observability standards.\nPartner with operations teams to improve service availability and incident response capabilities.\nSupport disaster recovery, business continuity, and resiliency planning.\nDrive operational maturity through SRE principles and automation.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nCollaborate with engineering, security, architecture, and infrastructure teams.\nMentor engineers and architects on platform engineering best practices.\nTranslate complex technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.\nInfluence strategic technology decisions across the organization.\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\n4 years relevant experience required.\nExperience in platform engineering, cloud architecture, SRE, or infrastructure engineering preferred.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies.\nExperience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale platform engineering initiatives.\nAzure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.\nExperience leading architecture reviews and technology modernization efforts.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.\nDegree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.\nTechnical Competencies\nExpertise in platform architecture, including design of scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available technology platforms.\nStrong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and services across public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform).\nExperience defining platform standards, reference architectures, architectural decision records (ADRs), and technology roadmaps.\nProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar technologies.\nExperience designing and governing CI/CD deployment patterns, release automation processes, and modern software delivery practices.\nKnowledge of DevOps methodologies, GitOps principles, source control management, and automated testing frameworks.\nExperience partnering with Cloud Architecture, DevOps, and engineering teams to establish platform capabilities and operational standards.\nExperience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts, service level objectives (SLOs), service level indicators (SLIs), and reliability engineering practices.\nKnowledge of security architecture principles, identity and access management, secrets management, vulnerability management, and secure-by-design practices.\nStrong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.\nAbility to assess technical risks, identify architectural gaps, and develop scalable remediation strategies.\nProficiency in documenting complex technical
