May assist or be responsible for Fixed Assets. \nMay assist or be responsible for Multi-State Sales and Use Tax and Related Reporting.\nMay assist or be responsible for vendor and or customer portal management. \nMay assist or be responsible for Certificates of Insurance management. Provide solutions to accounting problems. Documents policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned areas of responsibility. Contributes to department and organization special projects, as assigned. \nPerforms budgeting and cost accounting duties, as assigned.\nPerforms data entry to, and research within, ERP. Sales and use tax regulation research, reporting, and compliance. Property tax regulations research and reporting. \nAssist and/or lead new system implementations as directed.\nPrepares cash flow forecasts, as required. \nCreate foreign exchange transactions for manager approval and liaise with FRx provider(s). \nAssists in preparing information reports to meet ad-hoc management requests as well as other regulatory agency or survey information requests as required.\nAssist with annual external audits, as well as all other audits as assigned. \nAdministration of employee expense report system. \nAssist junior staff as needed.\nWork month-end/year-end weekends as required. \nCollections administration and activities as required. \nOther duties as assigned.\nRegular punctuality, attendance, and absence reporting in conformance with company policies is essential to the successful performance of this position; and fully comply with company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.\nOther general and administrative duties as related and assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES: \nAny combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following: \n\nExperience/Training/Education:\nBachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent, from an accredited university. \n5+ progressively responsible years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\n\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nKnowledge of general accounting principles, standards and concepts. \nAbility to communicate and work cooperatively with others, including staff and departmental representatives. \nStrong analytical, written, and oral communication skills required. \nThorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required. \nAdvanced experience & skills with, and superior knowledge of, Microsoft Excel required. \nIntermediate to advanced knowledge/skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook, and FRx or similar programs required. \nAdvanced knowledge of ERP systems. \nMust be client-service orientated with excellent verbal and written communication skills. \nEffective organizational, stress, and time management skills \nAbility to work independently or as a team member\n\nPhysical Requirements: \nMost work tasks are performed indoors where temperature is moderate and controlled by office environment systems. \nAbility to work (sit and/or stand) at a desk for the majority of the workday; walking and/or standing may be required for the remainder of the work day.
