You'll write real code, shape the integration framework, and feed patterns back into the platform.\nIn this role, you will:\nOwn the full integration lifecycle for partners and customers who need hands-on delivery support, qualification, scoping, build, and handoff\nRun Phase 0 qualification assessments - mapping systems, data flows, risk surface, and build approach before committing to timelines\nBuild and configure integration connectors, data mappings, and partner adapters using Clara's integration framework and shared libraries\nCoordinate directly with partner technical teams throughout the build, acting as the primary technical point of contact\nPartner with Platform/API squads to leverage core primitives (webhooks, auth patterns, event contracts) and flag reuse opportunities\nEnsure every integration meets Clara's standards: idempotency, observability, secrets management, data minimization, and sandbox testing\nDrive clean handoffs - delivering runbooks, dashboards, on-call assignments, and support playbooks before marking an integration as done\nFeed learnings back into the platform: identify patterns that should become shared libraries or configuration\nWho you are\nWe're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role.\nMust haves:\nExperience working directly with external partners or customers in a technical capacity, you're comfortable owning the relationship, not just the code\nWorking directly with end customers\nDesigning the solution from scratch to meet customer needs\nGreat communication skills\n4+ years of backend software development experience, with hands-on exposure to API integrations, webhooks, and data mapping\nDeep fluency in integration patterns: REST, event-driven architectures, OAuth/token management, idempotency\nAbility to move fast in ambiguous environments: qualify a new integration request, scope it, and start building within days\nStrong proficiency in one or more backend languages (preferably Java) and comfort working across multiple systems and tech stacks\nWorking knowledge of observability fundamentals: logs, metrics, tracing, alerting, and SLOs\nYou use AI tools as a force multiplier, from scaffolding connectors to automating repetitive mapping work\nWorking proficiency in English and Spanish, or English and Portuguese\nExcellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences\nExposure to integration platforms or connector frameworks (e.g. N8N, Zapier, or custom-built equivalents)\nNice to haves:\nExperience in fintech, payments, or financial data infrastructure\nFamiliarity with PCI/PII data handling and compliance requirements\nExperience with AWS, Kafka, or event streaming platforms\nProficiency in all three languages (Portuguese, Spanish, and English) is a strong plus\nA good sense of humor\nClara está comprometida con el trabajo híbrido, combinando la flexibilidad del trabajo remoto con los beneficios de colaboración, conexión y desarrollo profesional que ofrece trabajar juntos en la oficina.
