Some of the world's most recognizable companies, representing over $5T in market value, rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.\nAbout You\nYou are passionate about corporate travel, sustainability, and how modern software, especially AI enabled systems, can drive real world change. You thrive in ambiguous, high impact environments where customer problems are not fully defined, data is imperfect, and speed matters. You are equally comfortable engaging executives, designing solutions, and rolling up your sleeves to build, test, and refine technical workflows directly with customers.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a Solutions Architect to own the design, delivery, and evolution of Clarasight's most complex and high impact customer solutions.\n\nYou will work hands on with enterprise clients to translate ambiguous travel challenges into concrete, AI enabled solutions that deliver measurable results.\n\nYou will operate at the boundary between customers, product, and data by rapidly prototyping solutions with clients, shaping scalable delivery patterns, and feeding real world learnings directly into Clarasight's product roadmap.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead complex enterprise engagements from discovery through measurable value realization.\n\nTranslate ambiguous customer problems into clear solution architectures, implementation plans, and success metrics.\n\nAct as a trusted advisor to leaders across travel, procurement, finance, IT, and sustainability.\n\nRapidly prototype and iterate on solutions directly with customers to prove value early.\n\nServe as a critical field to product feedback loop, shaping roadmap priorities and reusable capabilities.\n\nPartner closely with Sales, Product, Data, and Customer Success to drive retention, expansion, and long term impact.\n\nWork hands on with customer data, models, configurations, and analytics workflows to build proof of value implementations, dashboards, and planning models.\n\nExperiment with AI (LLMs, agents, workflow automation) to accelerate solution delivery and design AI augmented planning and decision support systems.\n\nBuild custom integrations and workflows that don't yet exist in the product, balancing speed and rigor as requirements, data, and tools evolve.\n\nYou'll Be a Great Fit If You…\nHave 5-8 years in solution architecture, implementation consulting, or enterprise systems design, with a strong track record across solution consulting, forward deployed engineering, or professional services in enterprise data / SaaS.\n\nAre comfortable operating as a forward deployed problem solver, not just an advisor.\n\nAre technically fluent and data oriented: you understand data models, metrics, transformations, and system workflows.\n\nCan query large datasets using SQL or other tools and languages.\n\nCan read, shape, and influence technical implementations even if you are not a full time engineer, and can drive hands on configurations and light development work.\n\nAre an exceptional communicator with the ability to translate complex technical and analytical concepts into clear executive narratives.\n\nAre energized by early stage environments where ownership, judgment, and speed matter.\n\nNice to Haves\nAI fluent and experimental by nature. Eager to test tools, refine workflows, and push automation forward.\n\nExperience working alongside AI systems and applying human judgment to automated outputs.\n\nPrior exposure to corporate travel, procurement, or sustainability domains.\n\nExperience building custom integrations or internal tooling in a forward deployed or professional services capacity.\n\nDiverse Perspectives\nWe know that innovation thrives on teams where diverse points of view come together to solve hard problems in ways that are just now possible. As such, we explicitly seek people that bring diverse life experiences, diverse educational backgrounds, diverse cultures, and diverse work experiences. Please be prepared to share with us how your perspective will bring something unique and valuable to our team.","description_format":"text","description_chars":4205,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"},{"name":"New York","iso":null,"kind":"city"},{"name":"Boston","iso":null,"kind":"city"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Business Travel","Travel Technology"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-11T05:26:56Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"adverts_offering_sponsorship_24m":0,"sanctioned_now":false,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 1","filings_12m":1,"filings_prev_12m":0,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":282500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-11-07T07:57:00+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":32,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.725,"p_room":0.44,"age_days":193,"expected_fill_days":146,"reasons":["conf:1","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-11-07T05:47:08Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/clarasight-solutions-architect","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/clarasight-solutions-architect.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-11-07T22:25:09Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":36832,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-11-08T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":673483},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=673483"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fclarasight-solutions-architect"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fclarasight-solutions-architect"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fclarasight-solutions-architect"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/clarasight-solutions-architect\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fclarasight-solutions-architect"}],"agent":{"mcp":"https://alion.io/mcp/jobs","mcp_open":"https://alion.io/mcp/open","next":[{"tool":"get_job","arguments":{"id":713736}},{"tool":"search_jobs","arguments":{"company":"clarasight.com","detail":"compact"}},{"tool":"match_people","arguments":{"job_id":713736},"note":"people open to offers who fit this vacancy"}],"note":"The same data through MCP tools: https://alion.io/mcp/open needs no sign-in (compact searches, postings, people); https://alion.io/mcp with an Alion account has everything.
