Job Summary:This hands-on leadership position is in a fast-paced beverage distribution environment. The Delivery Driver Supervisor oversees daily transportation operations, ensures driver performance, maintains regulatory compliance, supports customer satisfaction, and promotes a safe, efficient work environment. This role leads and develops delivery drivers while ensuring operational goals are achieved.
Essential Functions:• Oversees daily transportation operations, including driver assignments, route planning, scheduling, and delivery performance.• Supervises, coaches, and develops delivery drivers to ensure safe work practices, high productivity, and exceptional customer service• Ensures all company vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and operated in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards• Builds and maintains positive customer relationships by promptly addressing service issues and resolving customer concerns.• Conducts driver training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching to support employee development and accountability.• Monitors compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company policies, including disciplinary and corrective action processes when necessary.
Required Education and Experience: • Class A -Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.• Highschool /GED • Minimum of one year of experience• Ability to drive safely.• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.• Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.• Thorough understanding of traffic rules, policies, and procedures, and OSHA and EPA regulations.
Physical Requirements: • Must be able to lift up 50 pounds regularly.• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without handcarts in various types of weather.• This position requires physical work.
Compensation:
• $50,000 - $60,000 (Annualized) Paid Weekly
