This platform plays a critical role in how patients engage with research, enabling reliable data collection, improving compliance, and supporting a high-quality trial experience.\nIn this role, you will lead the development of robust, scalable mobile applications using C#, MVVM architecture, and modern cross-platform frameworks such as .NET MAUI. You will own key architectural decisions across the mobile platform, guide technical standards and best practices, and act as a technical reference point for mobile engineering within the R&D organization.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nDefine and own the architecture for cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with mobile engineering best practices.\nLead the development of core mobile application features using C#, .NET, and XAML, remaining hands-on with complex, performance-critical, and platform-specific components.\nCollaborate with UX/UI teams to implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces optimized for Android and iOS platforms.\nOversee integration with RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, secure local data storage solutions, and offline synchronization mechanisms.\nEstablish and enforce coding standards, perform architecture and code reviews, and ensure application security, performance optimization, and stability.\nOwn the end-to-end mobile application lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, build automation, versioning, signing, and deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.\nMentor and guide engineers at all levels, supporting technical decision-making and fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.\nAct as a key technical partner to product owners, backend teams, QA, and other stakeholders, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.\nWhat We Look For\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\n7+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile applications\nExperience in a lead, staff or senior engineering role\nProven experience delivering production-grade Android and iOS applications\nDeep understanding of MVVM, clean architecture principles, and modern mobile design patterns\nStrong proficiency in C# and .NET, or in a comparable strongly typed language (Kotlin, Swift, Java, TypeScript) with the ability to ramp up quickly on C# and XAML\nExperience with a modern mobile development framework or technology stack, such as native Android/iOS development, Xamarin.Forms, .NET MAUI, React Native, or an equivalent solution\nExperience integrating RESTful APIs, third-party services, and secure local data storage solutions\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices for mobile application delivery\nDemonstrated experience using agentic AI coding tools to plan, implement, test, debug, and refactor code as part of day-to-day software development, including building or tuning the workflows, skills, prompts, or tooling around AI coding agents\nExperience making architectural decisions, reviewing code, troubleshooting complex issues, and guiding engineering teams toward scalable solutions\nStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders\nNice to Have\nExperience with .NET MAUI or Xamarin.Forms.\nExperience developing mobile applications in regulated environments or for healthcare and clinical research.\nAt Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
