This role is ideal for professionals with prior experience in software testing who are looking to deepen their expertise in quality engineering, contribute to high-impact clinical systems, and operate within a fast-paced Agile environment.\nThis is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite collaboration with the Software Quality Engineering team in Bangalore.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay and incentives\n\nProvident fund and medical insurance\n\nEngaging employee programs and local events\n\nModern office spaces and remote work flexibility\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nParticipate in software testing activities including test review, test execution, and test witnessing within an Agile development lifecycle\n\nReview Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Engineering Functional Specifications, and test plans to support accurate test scoping and planning\n\nExecute test cases, document results, and ensure timely and accurate reporting of defects and issues\n\nCollaborate with software engineers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve defects identified during testing\n\nWork with QA team members, developers, and system/database administrators to diagnose failures across multiple environments\n\nAnalyze requirements to identify gaps, edge cases, and risk areas, contributing to improved product quality\n\nSupport test planning activities by identifying dependencies, risks, and required test coverage\n\nFollow established QA processes, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and consistency\n\nTroubleshoot application issues and support root cause analysis efforts\n\nContribute to documentation, quality records, and audit readiness activities\n\nRead, understand, and make small modifications to scripts (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to support testing activities\n\nLeverage basic scripting or automation techniques to improve efficiency in repetitive testing or validation tasks\n\nManage competing priorities effectively in a dynamic project environment and escalate risks appropriately\n\nWhat We Look For\nBachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field\n\n2-3 years of experience in enterprise software testing or quality assurance\n\nStrong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)\n\nExperience with manual testing concepts including test cases, scenarios, and defect life cycle\n\nFamiliarity with manual and automated testing tools\n\nBasic understanding of databases with ability to write SQL select queries\n\nFamiliarity with web-based applications and system workflows\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment\n\nStrong communication and documentation skills\n\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nExposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices, or Amazon Cloud automation is a plus\n\nLocation\nHybrid role - working from our Bangalore office 3-4 days per week\n\nAt Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
