optimize the electrical system to balance cost, performance, mass, volume, and energy efficiency.\nParticipate in electrical design analyses and test-result reviews supporting design verification.\nDefine test setups and plans, and execute tests for electrical circuits and components.\nProvide support for Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders.\nSupport technical investigations and resolution of electrical component and circuit issues.\nDevelop supplier relationships to deliver components to specification.\nAssist in design for manufacturability (DFM) to optimize designs for manufacturing processes.\nActively participate on assigned project teams and tasks across engineering disciplines.\nParticipate in engineering development meetings and occasionally provide direction to assist others in development tasks.\nWork independently, managing on-time tasks and responsibilities with minimal guidance.\nCore Competencies\nSolid automotive embedded electronics expertise and complex problem-solving.\nProficiency with electronic design and development tools (schematic capture, layout, analysis, simulation).\nExperience with electronic circuit debug and test.\nHands-on proficiency with electrical engineering equipment (power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes).\nExpert knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Ethernet and associated development tools.\nKnowledge of automotive test methods, standards, equipment, and certifications.\nCollaboration across multiple engineering disciplines and clear technical communication.\nWhat You Bring (Qualifications)\nBSEE from an accredited four-year college or university.\n5-9 years of professional engineering experience in a related field.\nOE automotive / Tier 1 embedded electronics design experience.\nExperience with requirement management tools.\nExperience with Li-Ion battery management.\nAbout Clarios:\nClarios is the global leader in advanced, low-voltage battery technologies for mobility.
