This will be onsite 5 days a week at our St Joseph DAP location.\nHow you will do it\nLead Environmental Engineers to ensure compliance with facility, regional, corporate, and regulatory standards through audits, inspections, and accurate recordkeeping.\nSupport investigations and recommend corrective actions to maintain environmental compliance and data integrity.\nDevelop and oversee environmental management systems in partnership with EHS Systems and Training, including training, hazard analysis, spill prevention, and regulatory preparedness.\nCollaborate with engineering and project teams to integrate environmental considerations into proposed changes and capital projects.\nAct as the primary technical resource for environmental compliance and continuous improvement across site and regional teams.\nMonitor regulatory changes, submit required reports, and identify opportunities for emissions reduction and emerging environmental technologies.\nWhat we look for\nRequired\nCandidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, EHS Management, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment.\nProfessional experience in air permitting and operations, wastewater permitting and operations, and regulatory experience in CAA, CWA, SARA, TIER II, TRI (EPCRA), NESHAP, RCRA, CERCLA, SPCC, etc.\nPreferred\nExperience leading teams.\n#LI-AL1#LI-onsite\nSt. Joseph - Assembly Plant\nSt. Joseph, Missouri is home to our assembly plant which manufactures automotive and marine batteries.
