Our facility has been operating since 1973 and manufactures automotive and marine batteries. With more than 860 employees, we are proud of our commitment to manufacturing excellence, workplace safety, and community involvement.\nAs a Janitor, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for employees throughout the facility.\nJob Responsibilities\nSweep, mop, wipe, dust, and clean floors and surfaces throughout assigned areas.\nRemove soiled laundry from locker rooms and replace towels and other supplies.\nCollect, remove, and dispose of trash.\nRemove snow and ice from designated areas during the winter season.\nAssist with distributing work clothing, gloves, and other employee supplies.\nClean spills using appropriate powered cleaning equipment.\nReplace lead-cleanup wipes in designated employee cleanup areas.\nFollow established cleaning procedures and workplace safety requirements.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.\nWork Schedule\nFull-time position.\nSecond shift\nApproximately 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.\nOvertime may be available or required, depending on operational needs.\nPay and Benefits\nClarios offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:\nStarting pay of $23.80 per hour, with progression and incentive pay opportunities.\nPaid vacation and 13 paid holidays.\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance beginning on day 31.\n401(k) retirement savings with company matching and additional retirement contributions.\nAnnual bonus opportunity equal to 4% of gross wages, subject to applicable program terms.\nFree employee battery program after 120 days.\nCompany-provided PPE, uniforms, safety glasses, safety shoes, and respirators.\n$1,000 employee referral bonus, paid after 90 days under program terms.\nFitness reimbursement program.\nEmployee recognition programs, including safety events, holiday celebrations, and service awards.\nQualifications and Physical Requirements\nApplicants should be prepared to perform routine cleaning and facility-maintenance tasks in an industrial manufacturing environment.
